Ken Speaks at Saturday Indesign on How Brand Experience Design is Changing with the Current Retail-Scape

Last Saturday, Ken was invited as part of the speaker panel at Saturday Indesign to share about how online retail experiences are influencing customer-brand interaction in the spatial realm, what are the new power dynamics in the retail experience and how are retail designers shaping the new frontier with customers.

Along with Billy Ip, Principal and Regional Sector Leader at Woods Bagot‘s Hong Kong studio, and Leong Hon Kit, Founding Partner at Wynk Collaborative , the three leading retail designers and strategists revealed their insights on how brand experience is no longer limited to the confines of a physical store but encompasses other intangible qualities. They also share the common idea that there is a need to “understand the client and the brand from the more high-level perspective to design a store that fits within this broader omnichannel environment.”
